Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Execil collects when you use execil.net, why, and what happens to it. Execil is the trading name of EXECIL PVT LTD, a company registered in New York.
The short version: the site sets no cookies, we do not sell your information or share it with advertisers, and the only information we collect directly is what you type into the assessment form.
What we collect
The assessment form. If you request a billing assessment, we receive what you enter: your name, work email, phone number, practice name, specialty, number of providers, primary concern and, if you add one, a message. The form also includes an automated anti-spam check, described below.
Connection details. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard connection details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not add tracking of our own on top of this.
Usage measurement. We may measure how the page is used, in a way that cannot recognise you across visits. This is described in its own section below.
How we use it
We use what you send through the form to respond to you, prepare the assessment you asked for, and follow up about our services. We keep a record of the enquiry as an ordinary business record.
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you. This site carries no advertising, and we do not use any tracking that profiles visitors by health condition or medical interest.
Where the form goes
When you submit the form, a small program running on Cloudflare's network sends the contents to our mailbox by email. The site does not keep a copy in a database of its own.
The connection between your browser and this site is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher; older versions are refused. Server logs record whether the delivery succeeded and which fields were filled in, never what they contained. If delivery fails, the page offers to open your own email client with the message instead.
Bot protection
To keep automated submissions out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only when you start filling in the form, and it looks at browser and connection signals to tell people from bots. Cloudflare processes those signals under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Turnstile may store a small amount of data in your browser to complete its check. Cloudflare states that these signals are used only to tell people from bots, not to identify, profile or target anyone, and that a cookie set this way is partitioned to the site you are on rather than shared across the sites you visit.
Usage measurement
We may use PostHog to see how the page is used: which sections are viewed, how far people scroll, and which buttons are clicked.
It runs in a mode that sets no cookies, uses no local storage and assigns no persistent identifier, so it cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. It does not record your screen or your keystrokes, and it never receives anything you type into the form.
The data is processed in the United States under PostHog's privacy policy. When measurement is switched off, no analytics script loads at all.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and does not use local storage to track you. The only thing that may store data in your browser is the Turnstile check described above.
Service providers
A small number of providers process data on our behalf, each only to provide its service to us:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, runs the bot check and delivers form submissions to our mailbox.
- Our business email provider, where form submissions arrive and are read.
- PostHog, for usage measurement, when it is enabled.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay in our mailbox for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Write to the address at the end of this page and we will respond promptly.
Patient information
This website is not a channel for patient information. Please do not include patient names, dates of birth, diagnoses, claim details or any other protected health information in the form or in email to us. Our HIPAA Statement explains how patient information is handled once a practice becomes a client and a business associate agreement is in place.
Children
The site is aimed at medical practices and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we delete it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. A material change will be noted here.
